Frank at WIC: Building Digital Security Infrastructure for the AI Era
DAS-Security at the 2026 World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit
On April 13, 2026, the World Internet Conference (WIC) Asia-Pacific Summit officially opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together global leaders from government, industry, and academia to explore the future of digital innovation and governance.
Distinguished attendees at the opening ceremony included John Lee, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Zhuang Rongwen, Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China and Chairman of the WIC; and other senior representatives from central and regional government bodies. The summit was hosted by the World Internet Conference and organized by the Hong Kong SAR Government, with support from multiple institutions including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
That afternoon, the Summit Main Forum and Distinguished Contributors Ceremony convened, where global thought leaders gathered to exchange insights on shaping the future of the digital economy in the Asia-Pacific region.
A Defining Moment for AI and Security
As a recipient of the WIC Distinguished Contribution Award – Innovation Breakthrough Award, Frank Fan, Chairman of DAS-Security, delivered a keynote speech titled “Building Digital Security Infrastructure for the AI Era.”
In his address, Frank highlighted a critical shift: artificial intelligence is dramatically reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. Attack efficiency has increased exponentially, while the cost of launching sophisticated cyberattacks has dropped significantly. More importantly, the rapid evolution of AI capabilities may soon surpass critical thresholds, fundamentally challenging existing security frameworks.
“In the AI era, digital security is no longer a supporting function of IT—it is the core infrastructure,” Frank emphasized.
This perspective underpins DAS-Security's
long-term strategy:
to build the foundational security infrastructure for the AI era, guided by a
clear vision—
“Make security smarter, and make intelligence more secure.”
Making Security Smarter with AI
To make security smarter, DAS-Security is leveraging AI to fundamentally reshape cybersecurity operations.
At the center of this effort is its proprietary AI-driven security agent framework, designed to transition security from tool-based and expert-driven approaches to intelligent, automated, and system-level operations through multi-agent collaboration.
This approach has already delivered significant breakthroughs across multiple domains:
- Dynamic Data Security Governance: Achieved over 60x improvement in data classification and grading efficiency
- Security Operations: Launched an AI-native SIEM platform that enables end-to-end detection, analysis, and response across massive volumes of ***s
- Security Services: Introduced the world's first AI-powered digital security analyst, Bruce An, delivering scalable and high-quality security services
- Critical Protection Scenarios: Successfully intercepted large volumes of high-risk attacks using AI-driven defense mechanisms
- Code Security Governance: Developed an AI code auditing agent capable of identifying hundreds of zero-day vulnerabilities, shifting from rule-based detection to semantic reasoning
Together, these innovations mark a transition toward a more intelligent, adaptive, and automated cybersecurity paradigm.
Making Intelligence More Secure
While AI enhances security capabilities, it also introduces new risks. Addressing these challenges requires establishing governance, boundaries, and accountability across intelligent systems.
To make intelligence more secure, DAS-Security has introduced ClawdSecBot, an AI security solution designed to ensure that intelligent agents remain controllable, auditable, and accountable. The personal version has been open-sourced, while the enterprise edition is now commercially available, supporting both individuals and organizations in securely managing AI systems.
A Call for Collaborative Security in the AI Era
Frank concluded with a clear message: Without security, AI cannot scale.
He called on industry stakeholders to jointly build AI-era security infrastructure, shifting from reactive defense to proactive design, and from isolated protection to ecosystem collaboration.
DAS-Security remains committed to working with global partners to foster a secure and trusted digital ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region—unlocking new possibilities for innovations, and enabling high-quality growth in the digital world.
