As cyber threats grow increasingly sophisticated and the demand for data protection continues to rise, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer just a tool—it has become the driving force behind a new wave of transformation in cybersecurity.

On September 19, the Hong Kong sub-forum of the 2025 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week was held at The St. Regis Hong Kong, hosted by the Digital Policy Office (DPO) and co-organized by the Hong Kong Police Force's Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited, and Hong Kong Computer Society. Mr. Frank Fan, Chairman of DAS-Security, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on the theme: “AI-Powered Security: Strengthening the Digital Shield of Hong Kong as a Global Hub.”

Fan emphasized that as an international financial center and digital economy hub, Hong Kong faces particularly urgent needs in cybersecurity and data security. • Coverage of detection: Above 99%

In threat intelligence sharing, AI has reduced information exchange time by 80%, cut response times by 50%, and doubled the coverage of threat detection. In data security, AI enables the evolution from static to dynamic protection, bridging boundaries between closed and open environments while enhancing data governance through classification, intent recognition, and automated alert optimization.

DAS-Security has long been an active contributor to Hong Kong's cybersecurity development. As a founding council member of the Hong Kong Computer Society's cybersecurity division, the company has won honors such as the Gold Award at the Hong Kong Cyber Attack and Defence Elite Training cum Tournament 2025.
