DAS-Security Recognized by Gartner as a Representative Vendor in Market Guide for Privileged Access Management 2025

Views: Source:DAS-Security

In June 2025, Gartner released the Market Guide for Privileged Access Management in China. This guide comprehensively presented the functional features, core advantages, and main application scenarios of Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools. DAS-Security, with its Mingyu Unified Security Management Platform (DAS-USM), was successfully selected as a representative vendor in China's PAM market.

As Gartner points out, "Privileged access is access beyond the normal level granted to both human and machine accounts. It allows users to override existing access controls, alter security configurations, or make changes affecting multiple users or systems. Because privileged access can create, modify and delete IT infrastructure, along with company data contained in that infrastructure, it presents catastrophic risk. Thus, managing privileged access is a critical security function for every organization and requires a specific set of procedures and tools. "

Since the establishment of the dedicated PAM team in 2010 and the launch of the first bastion host product in 2012, DAS-Security has been focusing on the core requirements of privileged access security. The DAS-USM, as the core, has built an integrated solution covering full-lifecycle account management, operation control and intelligent audit, which helps customers in industries such as government, finance, healthcare, and energy to meet both compliance and practical security requirements.

DAS-Security's PAM solution has outstanding performance in the following scenarios:

1. Operation and Maintenance (O&M): It constructs a complete system from authentication, operations, and audit. This system can effectively control O&M risks, meet compliance requirements, and improve the security efficiency of internal management.

2. Privileged Account and Session Management (PASM): It can automatically discover and manage privileged accounts on servers, databases, cloud platforms, etc. It supports dual-record (video + text) for protocols such as SSH, RDP, and databases for accurate auditing. It also provides role-based and time-based temporary permission allocation.

3. Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM): It offers various authorization management methods. Based on the principle of least privilege, permissions are granted as needed, covering aspects such as access control, character command control, database command control, and file transfer control.

4. AI-Driven Intelligent Risk Control: By integrating large models like Hengnao, our self-developed domain-specific AI model, and DeepSeek, it automatically analyzes logs to identify abnormal operations, such as batch database deletion and non-working-hour logins.

With continuous innovation and deep expertise in privileged access security, DAS-Security remains committed to helping organizations transform privileged access from a major security risk into a cornerstone for secure, compliant, and intelligent IT operations.
